Till Lindemann's 'Messer' - "Tanzerin (2)"

Unlike 'Auf Dem Friedhof', 'Tänzerin' 1 and 2 do not detail consecutive events thus this will get a separate entry.

Disclaimer: Poem copyrighted to Till Lindemann. This post does not include photos/illustrations of said poem from 'Messer'. The original German text is also not included. This is only a interpretive translation and accuracy is not guaranteed.

Dancer (2)

The smell of the ballroom in the aftermath
The scent is creeping into my heart
Moving to my brain and making me dizzy -
They lifted the dancers out on the front
But suddenly they fell from there
And killed the dancer instantly
Her gracefulness broke her neck
And with it, the brief happiness of my eyes.

Comment: Rather than a continuation of Tänzerin, this one simply goes into more detail about the female dancer's death in it. A small, powerful captured vignette of said moment.
