Till Lindemann's 'Messer' - "Abgewiesen"

Rejected

Her ashes twitch within my hand
I scatter her on the beautiful meadow
The late night sun shines so pale
There my seed falls on the grass
United with the dust of her bones
Is she, but now she’s forever mine.

Original Meter: Largely iambic tetrameter (last four lines), the first is a trochaic pentameter with the last syllable truncated and the second is the same, except iambic.

Original Rhyme Scheme: ABC(C/D)EE. ‘Blass’ and ‘Gras’ are only half-rhymes in my opinion, but they are clearly intended to be a rhyme nonetheless.

Comments: ‘Seed’ on that translation is indeed ‘Samen’ in the original text, ‘semen’.
